Today I began to do a little research on my ILE. Since I am looking to improve my free throw shooting, I looked up some tips for having a good technique. Looking at the slow progress I have been making, something has to be changed. The techniques that I learned from today’s research I can use in the future. I know that the only way I can get better is by practicing and through repetition. Eventually, my goal is to be able to make free throws without even really thinking about it. This is going to take a lot of hard work and effort but if I use the correct techniques, I believe I will eventually be able to achieve my goal.

Virtual Reality is a way for users of technology to interact in a new way with each other. Many companies have came out with “glasses” that you put on and they allow you to view your device’s screen right in front of your eyes making it seem like a reality. This technology opened up many new ways to experience things such as gaming or other media. They can range anywhere from $100-$300 depending on where they are purchased from. There are many different brands of them that can be used for different devices. Most of the VR headsets are compatible with specific devices and won’t work with any other devices. For example, Samsung developed one that is only compatible with Samsung phones and no other devices.

Today we were asked to help Mrs. V in the media center with printing. The problem she had was one I had never faced before but we still tried to help with many different tips but we were unsuccessful. She ended up emailing the teacher about the problem and sorted it out herself.

Nobody came down to the Genius Bar today so I just started to work on my project.

The app Wunderlist allows users to create to do lists that could be very useful in everyday life. It provides a very organized way to keep track of your needs. Below there is an image of the menu which holds all of the categories featured in this app.

Once a category is selected you can start placing items into a list that fit into the category selected. This makes it easy to be able to have everything you need in one place. The image below shows a list of groceries.

There is also an option to share your lists with other people. This is useful when multiple people are going to be shopping so they can all have a copy of the list. The image below shows the option to share your list.

One last feature this app has is to be able to email and print your list in case you will need it another time and don’t have access to the app. Below there is an image showing a menu displaying all of these options.

Overall, this app seems to be very useful. People who often go grocery shopping can definitely get very good use out of this app. I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs a good way to keep track of tasks.

This weekend I went to the soccer field with one of my friends to shoot around. We stayed there for about an hour and I worked on my skills. I don’t actually play soccer but I find it to be a fun activity to do in my spare time. It also serves as good exercise as soccer involves a lot of running and moving around.
